Data Fusion International – SME Partner

 

Data Fusion International (DFI) is an Irish software SME, based in Dublin, Ireland. DFI is a developer of technology solutions that fuse structured and unstructured information, from multiple sources, internal and external to the organisation to provide clients with a single, composite view of any entity that drives their business success. DFI'dsolution - Infinity - is used in Homeland Security, Financial Services and Healthcare.

 
 

Denodo Technologies – SME Partner

 

Denodo Technologies is a leader in Data Virtualization / Information-As-A-Service. SELEX Sistemi Integrati – Industry Partner

 

SELEX Sistemi Integrati, a Finmeccanica company, designs and develops Large Systems for Homeland Protection, systems and radar for air defence, battlefield management, naval warfare, air traffic control, coastal and maritime surveillance.

 

The Company with about 4,200 employees has fifty years of experience in system integration and a customer base in no less than 150 countries.

MTA SZTAKI (Hungary) – Academic Partner

 

The Computer and Automation Research Institute, HungarianAcademy of Sciences (MTA SZTAKI) as an EU Center of Excellence, member of ERCIM and W3C is the leading Hungarian institute for computer science, software engineering and applied mathematics. The staff consists of approximately 300 employees, more than 70 with scientific degrees. The Institute performs basic and applied research in an interdisciplinary setting in the fields of computer science, engineering, information technology, intelligent systems, process control, wide-area networking and multimedia. Contract-based research, development, training and expert support for domestic and foreign industrial, governmental and other partners are important activities at the Institute.

 

 

University of A'Coruna (Spain) - Academic Partner

 

The Telematica Research Group is part of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies at the University of A Coruña. The main research fields are the retrieval, extraction and integration of unstructured, structured and semi-structured web information. The group is currently composed of 5 senior researchers, 6 assistant teachers, and 7 PhD students and external collaborators.  The group has participated in numerous publicly financed research projects financed through competitive regional, national and European calls, and has published numerous articles in international  scientific conferences and magazines. The group has also developed numerous privately financed research projects for organizations such as Inditex, Union Fenosa, Isdefe or Telefonica Sistemas and Denodo Technologies.
